LAUNCH ISN’T A DATE ON THE ROADMAP.
A launch is the point where product decisions, market reality, positioning, sales readiness, channels, customers, and timing all collide.
A bigger announcement doesn’t fix weak foundations.
Cyber Increment helps cybersecurity and technology companies work out what needs to be true before launch, build the go-to-market around it, and focus effort where it can create momentum.
- 4–8 weeks
IS IT READY TO LAUNCH?
Launch planning often starts too late.
The product is nearly finished, somebody picks a date, and marketing gets asked to create the noise.
Before building the campaign, we look at the questions underneath it:
- Is the product ready for the customers we’re targeting?
- Is the problem important enough?
- Do we know who the launch is really for?
- Is the positioning clear?
- Can we substantiate the claims?
- Is there a reason for the market to care now?
- Does sales know how to sell it?
- Can customers successfully adopt it?
- Are the right channels and partners ready?
- What does success look like after launch day?
Sometimes the answer is “go”.
Sometimes the useful answer is “not yet”.
THE LAUNCH SEQUENCE.
Clarify the audience, problem, buying context, alternatives, and what needs to change for somebody to act.
Define what we’re launching, why it matters, what makes it different, and what we can credibly say.
Look across product, sales, customer success, marketing, partners, and operational dependencies.
Define the moments, channels, content, enablement, advocacy, campaigns, and activities that support the strategy.
Decide what success means beyond launch-day impressions and build the signals needed to learn quickly.

SOMETIMES YOU ABORT THE MISSION.
Marketing’s job isn’t to drag every product across launch day regardless of what it finds on the way.
We’ve stopped launches when the product, proposition, or customer experience wasn’t ready to support the promise we were about to put into the market.
That’s a successful decision too.
You can relaunch a product. Rebuilding buyer trust is considerably more expensive.
MARKETING CAN’T LAUNCH A PRODUCT ON ITS OWN.
The strongest launches connect product, marketing, sales, customer success, leadership, partners, and the people closest to the customer.
Cyber Increment can lead the GTM work, work alongside the existing marketing or product team, or provide the senior strategic layer while internal teams and specialist partners handle execution.
We don’t need to own every piece of the launch to make the pieces work together.

COMMON QUESTIONS.
When should we start planning a product launch?
Ideally, while there is still time for market and buyer insight to influence the plan. The earlier GTM is connected to product decisions, positioning, sales readiness, and customer experience, the less likely marketing is to inherit a date and a list of last-minute deliverables.
Can you help with an existing product that isn’t gaining traction?
Yes. If the product has already launched but isn’t gaining the expected traction, a GTM Diagnostic may be the better starting point. That lets us look across product, market, buyers, positioning, channels, and execution before deciding what needs to change.
Do you run the launch campaign?
We can lead the GTM strategy and work with internal teams, agencies, and specialist partners on execution. The right model depends on the team and capabilities already in place.
What kinds of launches do you work on?
Cyber Increment is particularly suited to cybersecurity and technology products, new propositions, significant product releases, new market entries, and launches where the buying journey or technical story is complex.
